cold-chain logistics centers based on industry needs to optimize production and marketing. For
export facilities, the AFA provides guidance on upgrading outdated quarantine processing
operations with improved facilities and equipment that better maintain stable temperatures and
improve heating and cooling efficiency.

The agency also supports wholesale markets for fruits, vegetables, and flowers in enhancing
their cold-chain facilities for sorting and trading. This includes installing cold-chain equipment in
temporary storage areas to streamline auction operations and improve efficiency. Through these
comprehensive improvements to cold-chain infrastructure, the AFA aims to reduce supply chain
losses by 10%, lower production costs, and extend product shelf life by 50%.
