“Quality over quantity for sustainable operation” has been the motto upheld
by the Xinpu APMG No. 21. Every group member is fully committed to their
country and land by being fully supportive of their fellow farming partners. Along
the development, their cultivation techniques as well as end-product quality are constantly
improving. To cope with rural aging, they’ve also acted on a forward-looking plan “Thriving
Together” to pave the way for young people to return home. At the age of marketing, they
bravely embraced direct selling and built their own “Specialty Stand”, where they had the

chance to face consumers and acquire straight-up feedbacks. Their pursuance of quality has
paid off with a small group of loyal followings, which deepened their belief that the market will
emerge as long as you excel in quality.

APMG No. 7 of Flowers, Xinshe Township (Taichung City) — A breakthrough in
Oncidium industry led by strong leadership

To ensure that group members better grasp Oncidium market, this APMG created a chatting
group on LINE to share information of shipments, market prices, and updates on policy and
regulations. They also seek outside resources to enlarge their production scale, draw up

mid- & long-term plans including SOPs for production and standards for exporting to the
Netherlands, breed self-owned varieties, and introduce secondary product lines. Those
efforts have resulted in a stable supply all-year-round, streamlined operation for
trading companies, and a global reputation for Taiwanese flowers that
