The AFA establishes and promotes quality management
measures for domestically produced cut flowers to meet domestic
needs. Through a flower quality management system, the agency
identifies and controls risks throughout the supply chain from
production to marketing to improve product quality, extend cut
flower vase life, enhance consumer confidence in domestic
flowers, and elevate the industry’s overall competitiveness.
The AFA actively develops new retail channels for flowers by
helping industry groups to collaborate with distribution channels
to set up flower sales points in supermarkets, making it
convenient for people to buy flowers for home decoration. The
agency works to bring flowers into people’s lives through various
promotional initiatives: campus flower education, industry-
academia collaborations in marketing, and community gardening
activities. Through education, aesthetic appreciation, and hands-
on experiences, these programs guide people in choosing,
caring for, and enjoying flowers, enriching their daily lives and
enhancing their well-being through the beauty of flowers.
