              Building Taiwan’s Premium Agricultural Brand
              Through Market Intelligence


                Under the Ministry of Agriculture’s policy theme of “Smart Resilience, Sustainable
              Assurance,” the AFA will improve the accuracy of agricultural data collection and analyses,
              expand support for contract cluster production areas, introduce systematic business
              management practices to farming operations, promote planned production, and mitigate the
              risks of market imbalance. The agency will continue to review and enhance policies for
              domestically produced, traceable food ingredients to increase the use of certified organic and
              TAP products, supporting net-zero carbon reduction goals.















                                           To strengthen the agricultural industry’s climate resilience,
                                         the  AFA will develop a demonstration model for
                                         comprehensive cold-chain systems for agricultural exports,
                                         support cold-chain equipment upgrades in key wholesale
                                         markets, and improve product quality during transport. These
                                         improvements will reduce product losses and extend shelf life.
                                           Furthermore, the agency will advance sustainability by
                                         reducing greenhouse gas emission in the agricultural sector,
                                         enhancing soil carbon sequestration, and encouraging circular
                                         reuse of residual resources. To boost consumer confidence, the
                                         AFA will support farmer participation in organic and TAP
                                         certification programs. These initiatives aim to provide
                                         consumers with high-quality, traceable agricultural products
                                         and build a strong brand image for Taiwan’s premium
                                         agricultural products.
