Taiwan’s Agricultural Tapestry
臺灣主要生產之雜糧包含玉米、落
花生、甘藷、紅豆、大豆及高粱,近年
生產面積約 8 萬公頃。在加入世界貿易
組 織(World Trade Organization,
WTO)後,我國開放自由進口雜糧,為
維護糧食安全及推廣在地高品質雜糧,
農糧署致力於活化休耕地、改善產業結
構並輔導雜糧產業機械化、現代化及智
慧化,以提高國產雜糧供應。
Taiwan’s main grain crops include corn, peanuts, sweet potatoes, red beans, soybeans, and
sorghum, with production covering about 80,000 hectares. Since joining the World Trade
Organization (WTO), Taiwan has liberalized grain imports. To maintain food security and promote
high-quality local grains, the Agriculture and Food Agency focuses on revitalizing fallow land,
improving industry structure, and promoting mechanization, modernization, and smart farming
practices to increase the supply of domestically produced grains.
