With nearly 60 years of development, Chen Shie He Rice Factory,

underwent a transformation by establishing a successful rice milling

mechanization and automation techniques in 1998. Furthermore, plans

were made to construct “ Chen Shie He Specialized Rice Production

and Marketing Area, Chihshang Township” in 2005 with the guidance

and assistance of the Agriculture and Food Agency (AFA). Chen Shie He

Rice Factory got the CAS rice certification and was awarded with the

honor of “ Excellent Specialized Rice Production and Marketing Area”

in 2009. In view of long term promotion of Wan-an Village ecological

environment, chairman Chen Shie He further worked with Mr. Chiu

Chui-chang , Mr. Lin Long-Xing and Mr. Lin Long-Shan (winners of the

1st, the 2nd and the 3rd National Rice Quality Competitions) to actively

embark enhancing the inspection of agricultural chemical residues of

Chihshang Township, and then to extend the educational training to
