The First Rice Production and Marketing Specialized Area is located in

the main producing area of long grain glutinous rice in Taiwan. It is the

first such area in Taiwan that features mainly the long grain glutinous

rice. This Area upholds the land-friendly policy and develops the rice

production guidelines through the joint venture among the industry,

the government, and the academia. Our goal is to help local farmers to

produce safe rice, fruits and vegetables and to protect their farm

incomes. The Area highlights its produces with aspects of Taiwan-

origin, grading-by-quality, and on-season freshness. Our feature

brands is Taiwan Long Glutinous Rice.
