Luho Specialized Rice Factory Area is located at Pitou Township,

Changhua County. Because the water supply is pure and clean, and the

soil is fertile and unpolluted, this area is the first one to receive

government’ s guidance and assistance to cultivate organic high

quality rice among the whole nation. Through decades’ efforts, we

have been planting high quality rice, organic rice, and black glutinous

rice in over 70%, about 2,000 hectares of the paddy fields of the whole

township and established the brand of “ golden rice,” to ensure

farmers interest and to make this Area be Taiwan’ s big granary.
